I spoke to Honda UK about this issue. My car is 7 years and 5 months old and the extended warranty for the turbo is only for 7 years. I spoke to Honda UK Customer Service a couple of times and after initially turning down my "complaint" they did in the end agree to pay for the replacement part, and I paid for the labour.

Just typed in 'Honda Civic Turbo Problems' into Google and seemed to end up here. Bhavika, you seem to have the same problem as me, I bought a 53 plate Honda Civic CTDI a month ago and have lost power 5 times now. It is very dangerous, the engine management light comes on and the car slows to about 50mph (like a safe mode).
