Your running voltage is fine. If it stays like that you don't have an alternator problem. Your not-running voltages are low meaning either your battery is discharged, worn out, or both. A drop to 10.xx is a magic number meaning that one cell is completely dead. It could be shorted by deposits or totally worn out.
Many BMW dealers are selling the 105AH battery for approx $236 = $18 core charge. If you have a BMW CCA membership…then you can also get the discount (my dealer offers a 10% CCA discount). When I replaced the 105AH battery in my f06 650ix GC back in Jan/2023…I was out the door at $227.
- after changing the battery, it is now obvious the car was running less smoothly (not rough though) BMW wanted $300+ for a new battery, my local indy wanted about $280 for a battery. Then installation and coding on top of that. So, final price probably near $500. F that. So I also shopped the auto parts stores.
The 5 Series is BMW’s family of executive cars, sitting above the more compact 3 Series and below the luxurious 7 Series. BMW has been making 5 Series vehicles since 1972, across several different versions. The F10 is the model code BMW uses internally for the sixth-generation 5 Series sedan, produced between 2010 and 2016.
